Can I make a print myself?
đź’ˇImportant update: Quizzes are now called Prints
To make our communication clearer, we have changed the names of our materials. Where we previously referred to a“Quiz,” we now call it a“Print.”
In this FAQ, we use the new term, but you may still come across the old name in older videos or manuals.
It’s definitely possible to create your own prints to use with Picoo. First, a bit of background information:Â
We distinguish between three types of games:
- Games with a "fixed" Smartsleeve design: These are ready-to-play games such as Camelot or Beestenboel. The designs are specific to the game and usually remain the same.
- Games with a "variable" Smartsleeve print: Games such as Double, Three in a Row or Line Run. You decide what goes inside! You can choose one of our ready-made prints or make these games your own by creating a custom print with a theme or educational content.
- Examples, themes:
- Redundant: Zoomed in, zoomed out… Can you spot the right combinations?
- Three in a Row: From small to large, which animal comes first?
- Examples, educational content:
- Redundant: Do you know the answer to these word problems?
- Decimal places: In what order should these decimal numbers be arranged?
- Examples, themes:
- Games that are compatible with Smartsleeves (optional): Games such as Mollenmania, Shopping Race, or Treasure Chest do not require a printout to play, but we do offer optional printouts to enhance the gaming experience.
If you're going to create a print yourself, the easiest way is to use our template . You can use our template with Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint. Instructions on how the template works are on the cover page of the template. A more detailed description of how to use our template can be found in this article.
Unfortunately, for Quizstafette you cannot create your own quizzes at the moment. Have you thought of a nice quiz? Then you can always send it to us. Maybe we will put it in the app for you!
